Aaron + Logan’s Outer Banks Engagement

Welcome to Aaron & Logan’s engagement session!

THIS SHOOT! How do I even start? Lets go back a little. I met Aaron at my last bride’s wedding. Aaron was her maid of honor, and she held that title STRONG! When I first met Aaron at Tiffany’s wedding ( you will see her in bridal party photos of Tiffanys wedding day on the blog :) ) I knew instantly she could be a spitfire, but also so MUCH FUN! Watching her be the best maid of honor to Tiffany that day, I knew one day at her own wedding she would make the most beautiful bride. And here she is, GETTING MARRIED!

This day truly was the perfect recipe of EVERYTHING. We had perfect light. Perfect sunset. Perfect couple. Perfect locations. Perfect views, and the list goes on! When we started talking about her engagement session she sent me a few inspiration pictures and I knew instantly we needed to go to Beaufort, NC, and it did NOT disappoint! We took a small family vacay down there for the weekend ( Me, Justin & our boys) and i’m so glad we did! It gave us time to go scout this area and make sure it had everything we were looking for. Piers. Trees. Open feilds. Good diffused light. And different lcoation options all in one.

I had the best time getting to know more about them outside of a wedding day, and chasing their love with a camera at the beach. As soon as I met them together, I knew they were perfect for each other before I even had the first conversation with them, because as we were getting out of the car in the parking lot Logan came around and put Aarons shoes on for her and even buckled them before she got out of the truck. OK! Such a keeper, right?

They were so easy to please. And honestly there is no better feeling as a photographer when you hear your couple say, “ I trust you” with any crazy thing you might say or have them do! Aaron & Logan’s spirit and demeanor makes them so easy to love and work with!
