Ja’Qua + Trinity’s Downtown Engagement

I honestly love how full circle this session was. My VERY FIRST engagement session I did, LIKE EVER, was downtown in the city we live in! So when Ja'qua and her fiance reached out wanting me to do their engagement pictures downtown, I quickly said yes, and tried to come up with a game plan on how to make it different than my first session there to give them some variety, and also to challenge myself in a location that can look repetitive. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. I had a place in mind that I had always wanted to shoot at downtown, at the rose garden but the right time never came, and she quickly agreed! It was the perfect evening, with the ingredients to make beautiful images. These two are so photogenic. They are the perfect balance to one another, truly like peanut butter and jelly! You could never tell that they were nervous or that I did light posing coaching becasuse they were so natural! Oh, and just the sweetest! They wanted to do a small photoshoot on the bridge where he proposed, and it was almost like it happened all over again. So many feelings, and happy hugs. The downtown tram passed by just at that time, and it REALLY couldn't have been more perfect timing wise! Such a sweet evening with even the sweetest couple!
