Lindsay + Colton’s Park Engagement

Welcome to Lindsay & Colton’s engagement session!

Its been a while since I shot an engagement session at Greenfield lake, and by a while I mean maybe 7 months! Haha. Every time I end up in Wilmington to shoot an engagement session we end up here, can anyone guess why? I mean, ITS BEAUTIFUL! And truthfully very underrated in my opinion! If I could order light and weather for these 2 it would have been this! We got so lucky with last minute sunshine on this day when we thought we were going to have to reschedule due to bad storms but LOOK AT THAT GLOW!

Lid and Colton were nothing less than a dream, and made my job so so easy! It really makes a photographers heart sing when your couple looks at you and says “we trust you” with any decisions I made! Their smiles at each other all evening just lit up the whole world.

These 2 were seriously couples I dream of, and pray to attract to our buisness to serve! They were so laid back, go with the flow and down for any crazy thing i asked them to do. Im pretty sure Colton was wondering where Linsday found me at one point when i was knees deep in the middle of a flower bed to capture some perfect glow and foreground for a vision I seen, and we made it a reality! I can’t wait to show you the outcome below ( and maybe my dirty knees from basically rolling around in the dirt! ANYTHING for that perfect picture, am i right? :)

The last time I shot here it was in the middle of winter, so I’m happy I got to experience the beauty of Greenfeild lake at the end of summer in a very different season! As promised, the left is the result of burrying myself in a flower bed, and the right is my dirty scratched up legs after haha :) I would do it 1000 times over again!
